Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

By using Sheina AI (the "app", the "service") you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

The service is operated by PALATNIKS LTD.

2. Medical disclaimer

Sheina AI is not a substitute for professional medical advice, is not a medical device, and does not diagnose or treat.

Its recommendations are based on general sleep patterns and on the data you report. Always consult your pediatrician about your baby's health, especially with a temperature, unusual crying, or any significant change in behavior.

In an emergency, contact your local emergency services. The app is not an emergency service and is not monitored in real time.

3. Your account and your responsibilities

• An account is required. You must be an adult with legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
• Your account is personal. You are responsible for activity carried out through it.
• By recording information about a child you confirm that you are their parent or legal guardian, or that you have that person's permission — including for recording health information.

4. Sign-in credentials

You sign in with Apple, Google, or a link emailed to you. A sign-in link and a family invite link are credentials — do not forward either to anyone you do not mean to give full access to your account or to your baby's record.

Losing access to the account's mailbox may mean losing access to the account.

5. Family accounts and sharing

• Every parent in a family has identical rights: reading, writing, editing and deleting every record for the baby.
• Entries and corrections made by one parent are visible to, and editable by, the other.
• Leaving a family does not delete information already recorded.
• A public share link exposes the journal to anyone holding the address, with no sign-in. You are responsible for who receives it, and it can be revoked at any time from the app.

6. Sheina Premium — subscriptions

• Some features are free. Premium features — including the sleep-time recommendation, the day plan and the advanced reports — require a paid subscription.
• The subscription is offered on a monthly or an annual plan. The price is shown in the app in your local currency and comes from the store at the time you see it.
• New subscribers may be offered a 7-day free trial, where and as the store offers it.
• The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before that period ends.
• Cancel in your subscription settings in the App Store or Google Play. We cannot cancel a subscription for you: neither store permits it server-side.
• Deleting your Sheina account does not cancel your subscription. Cancel it separately in the store.
• An active family subscription covers every parent in that family.
• An existing purchase can be restored on a new device with "Restore purchases" in the app.

7. Refunds

Payment is taken by Apple or Google, so refunds are subject to their policies and handled by them. We cannot issue a refund directly. Use App Store → Report a Problem, or Google Play → Order history.

8. AI output

Answers and recommendations are generated by an AI model from the data you entered. They may be wrong, incomplete, or unsuited to your situation.

They are information only — never a diagnosis, a treatment plan or medical advice. Their accuracy depends on the accuracy of what you record. PALATNIKS LTD is not responsible for decisions made on the basis of the app's output.

9. Acceptable use

• The app is for personal use, to track your own children.
• Commercial use requires our authorization.
• You may not reverse-engineer, decompile or redistribute the code, scrape data automatically, or circumvent usage limits.
• We may suspend or close an account for abuse, fraud, or breach of these terms.

10. Availability and changes to the service

The service is provided as-is, on reasonable effort, with no guarantee of continuous availability. We may change, suspend or discontinue the service or features of it. If we discontinue something material during a paid subscription period we will give notice where we can.

11. Intellectual property

All code, design, logic and content of Sheina AI are protected by intellectual property law and belong to PALATNIKS LTD.

The content you enter remains yours. You grant us a limited licence to use it solely to operate the service for you — storing it, syncing it between parents, and producing your recommendations.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, PALATNIKS LTD is not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages arising from use of the service. Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the event.

Nothing here limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the competent courts of Israel have exclusive jurisdiction.

14. Apple-specific terms

This agreement is between you and PALATNIKS LTD only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support. In the event of any failure to conform to a warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price; beyond that, Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement and may enforce it against you.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance. A material change will be brought to your attention.
